The photo below, Dali Atomicus (1948) by Philippe Halsman, is one I have been aware of since my teens. I've always loved the energy captured by it, and so it seemed a natural to feed it into the AI image engine, Midjourney, to see how MJ would interpret that energy.
Below are some selections from just a couple of sessions using Dali Atomicus as a seed with the only prompt besides aspect ratio and version being, "illustration for a graphic novel."
